What We’re About

Why we exist

Our Founder

Brenda is a wife, a mother of three girls, a licensed social worker, a home baker, a coffee enthusiast, and an unapologetic dreamer. She has been touched by individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities throughout her life, particularly watching her nephew grow up, working as a PARA in an IDD high school classroom, coaching adaptive athletes, and most recently with friends in the Lincoln community.

Rose Cat Coffee Co and Reading Society is the culmination of years of dreaming, and an unrelenting hope that together we can create a connected community that will change the way that individuals with IDD are treated, valued, accepted, seen, and integrated into their own communities.

Life is better with Coffee, Cats, and Books!
